Thank you to all of families and students that participated in the Veteran’s Day assembly today. Thank you to the Veterans that joined us. It was wonderful to see all of Rockdale ISD in the RHS gym celebrating Veterans. I was impressed with the poise of our students that presented and proud of our students in the stands for their participation in the event.

Students received their second six weeks report cards in 3rd period today and a copy of the semester exam schedule. Sophomores also receive a copy of their Pre-ACT scores and information on how to access the free personalized study site. Please ask them to share the information with you. Here is a copy of the semester exam schedule for planning purposes for the December.

This week we started our FLEX schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays which allows for an extra 30 minutes in the day for intervention or enrichment. On FLEX days we are on an alternate bell schedule. These sessions change every 3 weeks and are based on student data. We currently have sessions for tutoring, credit recovery, ACT/SAT prep, PSAT prep, TSI prep, STAAR prep, AP Exam Prep, College and Scholarship Application help, and more. If your student is in a prep class or credit recovery they have free online access to these programs; please encourage them to continue to work at home.

For those attending the game tonight just a reminder that Waco ISD charges $5.00 for parking. I look forward to seeing you tonight at the game; please drive safe. Go Tigers!
