Friday, November 3rd is the last day of the six weeks. Hard to believe we are only three weeks away from Thanksgiving break and 1/4 through the year. November is a quick month with a lot going on please continue to remind your student to monitor grades and attend tutorials.

On Thursday, November 9th at 1:15pm we will honor Veterans during an assembly in the high school gym. Many of our students will take part in the assembly. We invite you to attend and look forward to seeing you there.

Tuesday is Halloween this is not a dress up or costume day at the high school. We will not run an afterschool / iTigers bus Tuesday due to Halloween and iTigers will be finished at 4:30pm on Tuesday.

National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and Art National Honor Society students and their parents will be recognized before the football game this evening. You will begin lining up at 6:45pm on the track.

The Lady Tiger Volleyball team will play Troy at Eastview HS in Georgetown Monday, October 30th for their Bi-District Playoff game at 7:00pm. Please come out and support our Lady Tigers!

*Christmas Round-Up: The high school will support Christmas Round-Up by collecting items for the food drive. We will have bins in the office and all items must be received by end of day December 2nd: 9th grade – canned chicken / 10th grade – cornbread mix (2 pkgs = 1 item) / 11th grade – instant potatoes / 12th grade – Ramen Noodles (4pkgs = 1 item). Students can donate 1 of each item for a service hour.

* Exam Registration Deadlines:

December 2nd ACT Exam – registration Thursday, November 2nd

December 9th SAT Exam – registration Friday, November 3rd

The campus code is 445-925. If you are eligible for free or reduced lunch please see your counselor for information in how to register at a reduced cost.

Free & Reduced Lunch Applications: Many families qualify for free or reduced lunch for their children.  While some don't fill the application out because they don't eat school lunch, many don't realize that qualifying also helps with ACT/SAT exam fees, reduced rates for college applications, reduced cost for AP exams, eligible for more scholarships, and much more. It’s not too late to apply; please contact the office or reply to this email for more information.

PTO Scholarship: Reminder for seniors that are interested in the PTO scholarship in the spring - student or parent must be a member of PTO and you must do service with PTO. There are currently two opportunities for service volleyball concession stand 10/31 and Fall Festival 10/28.
