Wishing a fantastic school year to our incredible RISD teachers and staff! 🎉

We are so excited to kick off another year together, and we can already tell it’s going to be something special. The heart of Rockdale ISD has always been the people inside our classrooms, hallways, cafeterias, offices, and buses- and we truly have the absolute best around.

💙 We also want to send a heartfelt thank you to our community partners:
Thank you to Citizens Bank for providing breakfast for our staff, to Mayor Ward Roddam for sharing a few words to inspire us, and to Rev. Bryan Jody of St. John's Methodist Church for bringing a beautiful blessing to start our year off right. It takes a community! 🍎✨

Our teachers are rooted in success!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our teachers during today's Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Celebration! Together, they earned more than $448,995 through the Teacher Incentive Allotment program- a reflection of the incredible impact they make in our classrooms every day.

Congratulations to all of our TIA recipients! Your hard work continues to help our students grow and succeed. 🐯

4 new teachers. 2 full days of prep. 100% dedicated to student success! 💪🍎

Our small but mighty crew of New to Profession educators just wrapped up two days of deep-dive training to make sure their classrooms are ready, welcoming, and inspiring from day one.

We can't wait to see the incredible impact they’re going to make this year! 🎉✨

Friendships are one of the best parts of school! 💙

Happy International Day of Friendship from Rockdale ISD! We can't wait to welcome our Tigers back, see familiar faces, make new friends, and create memories that will last all year long.
